It's always a great joy when my friends contract me as their makeup artist and hair stylist for their big day. It put so so much confident in me and trust me I'm always determined to make them look their very best. Dorcas was no exception. Her wedding was in December but she contracted me in October. We're both female Engineers , did lots of volunteering work together.

Fumi is a young senior high school student who aspires to be a supermodel . As a model , it's very imperative to keep your portfolio alive with fresh and chic pictures of you. Fumi is not a typical girl who wears makeup everyday . Her go to look is just lip gloss.

My Top 7 Eyelashes for Brides

False eyelashes are every brides' beauty accessory. They can  be natural or dramatic. They have the potential of taking a bride from beautiful to glamorous and also ruining the entire look if not chosen carefully. They come in several styles and lengths. 

I go through lots of them each year both for weddings and other shoots. I realize that for weddings , I'm always geared towards some particular styles which I propose to the brides during their trial and they make their selection.

Wedding beauty is all about a little drama and most often I prefer going very subtle with the eyes and so I really avoid giving my brides so so glam lashes.

RC #213 is a natural -looking length lashes. Great for brides who fear to wear lashes.

 

 

RC #217 - I love this lashes. It's creates that lift at the ends because of how it's shaped. It really opens up small eyes and great for everyday wear.It gives the face that lift.

IVY is simply beautiful - It's full length and just great on the eyes. 

 747M is my -to for brides who really want to rock lashes. It's long and full and very beautiful on the eyes. 

WISPY - this is drama. I love it . It's very scattered as you see it but very glamorous on the eyes.

 

#73 is another bomb . It's stunning for the red carpet bride. 

#43 is the queen of all drama. I love pairing these to create the Kim K kind of lashes.

I really love creating my own lashes by cutting, shaping and pairing them to achieve a desired look for my brides.  My all time lashes glue will follow soon.

This is really a quick review of the La Femme Non -Oily Brush Cleanser.

La Femme Non - Oily Brush Cleanser

La Femme Non-Oily Brush Cleanser (GH33.00 / 8Oz ) is an anti-bacterial brush cleanser for quick cleaning in-between makeup application. It disinfects brushes to provide a fresh and clean application every time. Its also helps to keep the skin  fresh and free from infections. It works really well as a spot cleanser. It's an important safety tools to have always on you especially when you have few makeup brushes.

It's a very important solution for every makeup artist kit especially if you're handling a big gig where you need to go through lots of brushes.

I have the MAC Brush Cleanser and then until recently I got this to try. I must admit they smell equally the same and seriously I cannot tell difference in usage. They both work effectively. The drying time is also very fast.

This is too bulky to travel with and so I'll advice you get a mini spray bottle and pour some in. Please remember to label for easy identification.

Usage 

Spray a reasonable amount into a paper towel and run the brush back and forth. What ever residue in your brush will be pulled out. lay the brush down for some minute to dry.
