ELF Makeup Haul : Mineral Infused Face Primer , Eye Primer & Brushes

ELF for Eyes, lips and face is an affordable makeup line . They carry everything from primers to foundation and the likes. Although their products are affordable , they also of good quality. My friend and I went sight seeing on their site and guess what ... 50% sale . Girl , i couldn't resist the temptation of shopping but this time i got only things i needed.

So here is the run down :

I ended  up spending $10 for all these goodies. i bet it was a good deal.

Mineral Infused Face Primer . I love primers. They ensure longevity of makeup . I decided to purchase this particular face primer based on the great reviews I've read from other artist. i tried a little amount on back of my hand and seriously it feels smooth and silky. This feeling on the skin will enhance foundation application.

Kabuki Face Brush.... i personally love kabuki brushes for versatility. I have one from Artedeco and it's great. The Studio Kabuki face brush is good for powder makeup and also for buffing foundation into the skin. The bristles feels so soft and really fine. i can't wait to try it.

Studio Contour /  Flawless Concealer Brushes .. I just love brushes and I thought I could do with more. I got both of them to try out. I'll be using the Studio Contour in the crease of the eye. The tapered tip will hopefully ensure precise application during usage. Obviously , the flawless concealer will be for applying under eye concealing for cream and powder products.

Eye Primer .. I used this today for Anita Erskine's makeup for Woman 2.1 Summit in the morning and trust me as at 8 pm , she still had her shadow and eyebrows on. It doesn't crease at all. I believe it works as great as some high end brands. Every one needs an eye primer and I"ll recommend it to every makeup person. However , it doesn't make colors pop. An eye primer ensure longevity of the eye makeup.

Quick Makola Mall Haul ( Featuring Sleek Cosmetics , Earrings and More)

Last Friday , I was in Makola Shopping mall with my friend NaturalistaGH for a quick random shopping. It was lunch time and so our time was really limited. We first stopped by the Sleek Cosmetics shop and we went knot. All things I was wanting from Sleek was live before me and so was my friend. We kept going on and on and the sales girls were kind of surprise.

Here Is What I Got From Makola

Sleek Face Foam Contouring and Blush Palette

 I got this for 25Gh .  Seen lots of reviews about this palette and so i got it to try myself. 

It swatched  really nice.

I also got some skincare wipes for my kit

I'm a silver girl and lately my son , Pique has scattered all my earrings and so I got five lovely earrings. My colleague took one for her daughter and I gave my mother too one and I kept these three .

Huge MAC Haul

Earlier this year , I applied for a MACPro Card and I was  accepted . Six weeks after , I received my card. The card entitles me to some good discount. With my card , I decided to going shopping for my kit.

 

 Here We Go...

I got two single pro palette for all my eyeshadows. This looks just like the Z-palette.Palettes keep the kit well organized. I need to get two for my blushes and powders.

Also got some more eyeshadows in the refill. I most popular ones are Trax, Shadowy Lady and Plum Dressing.

Got 6 shades of the MatchMaster foundations ranging from 7.5 - 10.0.

 Prep+Prime Line Filler Base - great for filling in fine lines and wrinkles around the eye and the mouth area.

I finally got the famous MAC Matte. This is great for oily skin prepping. 

 I got the all that 217 blending brush.

Love love this dark concealer/corretor palette.

Got three lipstick : Rebel  , Spice It Up and Viva Glam V

This is the most fun part. I got some samples .....
The Volcanic Ash Exfoliator  , Some Face & body Foundations , Natural Radiance , Prep + Prime Skin and Oil Control and two Zoom lash mascaras.

Got two eye kohl pencils , 1 in Feline and 1 in Smoulder.

The Fast Response Eye Cream .

This  is the prep + prime eye base in medium dark. It's an eye base and a lid corrector .

The fluidline brow gel creme.

I know you're dying to read the reviews and see some swatches too. I'm going to try them and will let you know my honest opinion ; however I got all this South Africa and the customer service was just excellent. 

Drugstore Haul ( Featuring Maybelline & Wet n Wild)

I have been on a makeup shopping spree lately and trust me I have done some good damages to my account. I cannot say anything about these products now since I got them based on good reviews from others.  As a mua , It's always an opportunity for me to try new products and share my honest views to my lovely readers. Mind you I bought all these with my CASH.

Here Is What I Got..

Maybelline Expert Twin Brow & Eye Pencils ( Dark Brown & Velvet Black ) - Celebrity MUA Scott Barnes swears by these pencils especially the velvet black and so i wanted to try them .

Maybelline Color Tattoo ( Edgy Emerald , Bad to the Bronze , Tenacious Teal  & Pomegranate Punk ) - I really really wanted to try them based on the great reviews I've read from others. I also got the color in Fierce &Tangy     but my sister forget to add it to the items during shipping .. So so sad .

Wet n Wild Desert Festival Eyeshadow - it part of the Fergie Centerstage Collection - I got this palette for a client's wedding . I can't wait to use it during her trial .

Fuchsianista / Purty Persimmon / Taj Mauve -Hal

Wet n Wild Lipstick - I got three lipsticks ; Purty Persimmon an orange shade , Taj Mauve-Hal  and Fuchsianista from the Fergie Collection.

I also got the Wet n Wild Color Icon pencil in dark brown . Read lots of reviews on this pencil for the brows.

Finally I got the Wet n Wild Eyeshadow primer - A mua can never have enough of primer.

My Togo Visit Haul

Last week my job sent me to Aflao, an eastern border town of Ghana. Whilst there i decided to jump over to the neighboring country - Togo and see what they got that can be added to my kits.

And guess what, i was dazed with the amount of stuff I could literally buy for just peanuts! Well because of time, i only got my hands on a few items..
