How To : 5 Different Berry Lips Using 5 Lip Liners

In today's post I'm going to show you how you can rock the same red lipstick in five different ways.  All you have to do is use a different lip pencil. It's amazing how you can totally transform a color just by lining it with a contrasting pencil.

 

Wet n Wild Lipstick - Just Garnet

 

In this demonstration I use the same berry lipstick and 5 different pencils to show you how you can completely change the look.  The lipstick is Wet n Wild and is Just Garnet - a classic berry lip colour. It's very moist and high pigmented.

From the Top - Bottom 

 Graftobian Plum , Mary Kay Plum , Jordana Plush Plum , NYX Deep Purple , MAC Chestnut

I picked some lip pencil shades that would go well with red - browns, plums, and deep purple.

Approach for all lip looks - i lined the entire lips with the lip pencil and applied the lipstick. No lip gloss added.

First Look - Graftobian lip liner in Plum . It's more of a red lips with this lip liner.

Second Look - Mary Kay lip liner in Plum . Very subtle comparing it to the first look.

Thirdly - Using the Jordana lip liner in Plush plum . Love the look so much . This combo creates a beautiful girly lip color.

Fourthly - NYX Deep purple lip liner changes the lip stick so much . More of red with blue undertones. Love this lip look .

Lastly, here is my favorite combo - Wet n Wild lipstick with MAC Chestnut lip liner. This liner is a must have for women of colour. The dark colour changes the look entirely . A bride must definitely rock this lips.

The moral of the story is that you can completely change any lip stick with the use of a lip pencil.  Therefore, don't throw away a color that you might not love at first site - try adjusting it with a pencil, and the same goes for changing a color with the help of a gloss.
